Allison Schifani is an Associate Professor of Digital Humanities in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Miami. Her work explores the intersections of media technologies, cultural texts, and urban environments. She is the author of Urban Ecology and Intervention in the 21st Century Americas: Verticality, Catastrophe, and the Mediated City (Routledge, 2021). She is co-founder of the research and design collaborative, SPEC.
