Pallavi Narayan has authored Pamuk’s Istanbul: The Self and the City (2022) and edited Singapore at Home: Life across Lines (2021). She has worked in academia and publishing in Singapore and India, including at National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, O.P. Jindal Global University, and Ahmedabad University. Her work is in the interdisciplinary humanities, with a focus on fiction, art history, urban studies, and creative and academic writing. She has been awarded the following fellowships: Frankfurt Fellowship of the Frankfurt Buchmesse, Visiting Scholarship to Koç University Center for Asian Studies (KUASIA), South Asia Speaks, CHCI-Mellon Global Humanities Institutes in Chile and Taiwan, and the Jalan Besar Fellowship in Singapore.
