Niloufar Vadiati

Niloufar Vadiati is an urbanist and digital geographer whose work examines the relationship between technologies and cities from a grassroots perspective. She is currently a DFG Research Fellow at the Digital Geography professorship at Goethe University Frankfurt, where she is conducting research on post-platform urbanism, focusing on increasingly automated and AI-enabled platforms. Over the next three years, her research will centre on housing platforms in Berlin.

She has also been a researcher in the project Planetary Health, Technology, and Urbanisation at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Hamburg. Niloufar teaches Digital Urbanism at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and is an editor of Digital Geography and Society.
