Marianne Blidon (she/her) is Associate Professor of Geography and Demography at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. A pioneer in the geography of sexualities in France, her work focuses on feminist and queer geographies, spatial inequalities, and the intersections of gender, sexuality, and space. She was co-founder of the journal Genre, sexualité et société. She has coedited with Stanley Brunn Mapping LGBTQ Spaces and Places. A Changing World (2022) and currently contributes to the EU-funded RESIST project on resistances to “anti-gender” discourses, mobilisations and politics in Europe.
