Jennie Gustafsson

Jennie Gustafsson is a political-economic geographer with an interest in rental housing, municipal governance, and housing inequality. She is currently researching institutional investments in rental housing, the effect of residential property investments in local rental markets beyond larger cities, and the municipal governance of international property investors. She is also interested in tenants’ lived realities, housing struggles, and how housing activism can inform housing research. Also, she works on a research project investigating renovations, privatizations and conversions of rental housing together with Ida Borg (PI) and Eva Andersson at Stockholm University, financed by Vetenskapsrådet.
