Dag Balkmar is Associate Professor (Docent) and Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies at Örebro University, Sweden. His current research focuses on transport poverty, mobility justice and sustainable mobility from a gender+/ intersectional perspective. Current projects include Families ́ everyday mobilities in disadvantaged neighbourhoods (Formas) and ACCTING (EU-H2020) – focusing on vulnerable groups
hindrances and potentials for sustainable mobility in the context of European Green Deal policy and interventions.
