Carina Listerborn is a Professor in Urban Planning at the Department of Urban Studies at Malmö University, Sweden. She is co-founder of the vigorous research environment CRUSH – Critical Urban Sustainability Hub – and the Vice-Chair of the Institute for Urban Research. Her research interests include feminist urban perspectives on neoliberal planning, critical housing studies and smart housing. She has previously worked on the topic of the geography of fear, safety and everyday racism in public spaces. Her most recent publications include “The New Housing Precariat: Experiences of Precarious Housing in Malmö, Sweden” in Housing Studies, 2021:39/6 and “Uncovering the ‘Cracks’? Bringing Feminist Urban Research into Smart City Research” in ACME, 2021:20/3 with Maja de Neergaard.
