Anders Melin is an Associate Professor in Ethics at the Department of Global Political Studies. His main field of research is environmental ethics, and he is currently the PI of a project on energy scenarios and justice, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency, and a project on value conflicts in urban biodiversity management, funded by Formas. He also takes part in a project on the role of new mobility services in creating a more equal public transport system.
