What personal data we collect, and why we collect it

When you use our forms to submit theme proposal or answer a call we ask for your name, title, affiliation and email.

If you decide to join our newsletter we ask for your name and email.

Contact and other forms

When you submit a form on this website your information (name, title, affiliation, email, message) is sent via email to our mailserver at Malmö University. No other copy of the information is being stored anywhere. It is only selected staff members of the institution that has access to this information. We are always careful how we handle your information and avoid forwarding this information to anyone outside the institution.

Avoid including sensitive personal details about yourself or anyone else in your message when using the forms. Such information as ethnic origin, political opinions, medical history, religious or philosophical beliefs, or genetic or biometric data.


Signing up to our newsletter means that your name and email is being stored in our email list. This list is being stored on our website serve and is being accessed only by few selected members of our institution. Your name and email is only being used for the purpose of sending out news and events via newsletters and is never forwarded to any third parties.


If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
