Lorena Arias Solano is a Colombian historian and geographer with experience in land and water-grabbing studies and environmental conflicts. She is interested in everyday forms of resistance within contexts of structural violence and is currently analyzing daily life and the violence experienced by racialized communities in sugar production areas in southwestern Colombia.
