Leonardo Ramondetti
Leonardo Ramondetti, Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Development, is Postdoc Researcher at Politecnico di Torino and Adjunct Professor at Università di Bologna. His field of research field of research is contemporary urban design and planning, with attention to infrastructure-led urbanisation. As a postdoctoral scholar, he is currently working on the research ‘Rescaling the Belt and Road Initiative: urbanization processes, innovation patterns and global investments in urban China’ (2020-2024) carried out by Politecnico di Torino and Università di Macerata, and financed by the Italian Ministry of Education. He is the author of the book The Enriched Field: Urbanising the Central Plains of China (Basel: Birkhäuser, 2022), and the coordinator of the China Room research group at Politecnico di Torino.
